Our Mission
Em Comms UK exists to support communities by providing reliable, resilient communications during emergencies. We are a volunteer-led network of licensed amateur radio operators who use our skills and equipment to serve the public good when traditional systems fail.
Our Purpose
To train and prepare amateur radio operators for emergency response.
To work alongside RAYNET, local resilience forums, and Category 1 responders under the Civil Contingencies Act.
To promote personal and community resilience through amateur radio.
To share knowledge, resources, and best practices across the UK EmComms community.
